Platform Fee Policy

Welcome to VaidyaSathi. This Platform Fee Policy explains how the Platform Convenience Fee is charged for appointment booking services provided through the VaidyaSathi website. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy.

1. Purpose

VaidyaSathi is an online technology platform that facilitates appointment bookings between patients and registered doctors, clinics, and hospitals. To support the operation, maintenance, security, and continuous improvement of the Platform, VaidyaSathi may charge a Platform Convenience Fee.

The Platform Convenience Fee supports services such as:

• Online appointment booking & confirmation
• Secure payment processing
• Website operation, maintenance, & performance upgrades
• Technical support & security monitoring
• System upgrades and improvements
• Customer support services
• Administrative costs associated with the Platform

Note: The Platform Fee is NOT a consultation fee or medical service fee.

4. Consultation Fee

Any consultation fee charged by a doctor, clinic, or hospital is separate from the Platform Convenience Fee. Unless expressly stated otherwise:

• Consultation fees are paid directly to the doctor, clinic, or hospital.
• VaidyaSathi does not determine, collect, or control the consultation fee.
• The doctor or healthcare provider is solely responsible for consultation fee policies.

5. Payment Methods

Platform Fees may be paid using payment methods made available on the Platform, which may include:

• UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, etc.)
• Debit Cards & Credit Cards
• Net Banking
• Digital Wallets
• Other authorized digital payment methods

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateway providers.

6. Refund of Platform Fee

The Platform Convenience Fee is generally non-refundable, except in circumstances such as:

• Duplicate payment due to technical issues.
• Verified technical error resulting in payment without appointment confirmation.
• Payment gateway failure where the transaction is successful but the booking is not completed.
• Other exceptional situations approved by VaidyaSathi after review.

Approved refunds will be processed in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Taxes

Where applicable, taxes required under Indian law may be included in or added to the Platform Fee. Users will be shown the total payable amount before completing the transaction.

8. Fee Changes

VaidyaSathi reserves the right to revise the Platform Convenience Fee from time to time. Any revised fee will be displayed on the Platform before payment is made. Changes will apply prospectively and will not affect appointments already confirmed.

9. Failed Transactions

If a payment fails or remains incomplete:

• No appointment will be confirmed until successful payment is received, where payment is required.
• Users may be asked to retry the transaction.
• Failed or pending transactions are subject to verification with the payment gateway.

10. Fraud Prevention

To protect users and the Platform, VaidyaSathi may suspend, reject, or review transactions that appear to involve fraud, unauthorized payment methods, chargeback abuse, identity misuse, or other suspicious activity. Appropriate action may be taken in accordance with applicable laws.

11. Policy Updates

VaidyaSathi may modify this Platform Fee Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on the Platform with the updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
